Vacancy Short Description : 2,500 ha Mixed Farming Estate in South Norfolk, Arable, Cattle, Property and a Shoot , The Farm grows combinable crops and root crops, potato land is let to a third party. The Cattle are suckler cows with a Beef finishing unit.
Qualifications Required : Entry onto the apprenticeship is subject to a thorough initial assessment to establish course suitability. Applicants should have at least 4 GCSEs including English and Maths at grades A-C or 9- 4. Apprentices need to be employed for minimum of 30 hours a week in the industry with a contract of employment.
Proof of qualifications will be required before you can be accepted onto the apprenticeship.
PLEASE NOTE: Those without the stated entry requirements or awaiting GCSE/GCSE retake grades, may be offered an appointment to come into college (Easton or Otley campus) and sit an online assessment to confirm program suitability.
Vacancy Full Description : Would be required to help in all aspects of the Farm and Estate, Arable, Cattle, Property and Shoot. Jobs would depend on experience, Spring, Summer and Autumn work on the Farm which would comprise General tractor driving, bowser work, grain carting, grain store work, beet carting and some light cultivations.
Cattle work is mainly mucking out and occasionally bedding up but depending on livestock experience would determine how much involvement there was with the cattle.
other work during the winter would include, Estate, Property and Shoot.

Working Week : 39 hrs M -Thur 07:30 to 16:15 Fri 07:30 to 15:15
Salary : £144.30 Per Week
