Qualifications Required : Entry onto the apprenticeship is subject to a thorough initial assessment to establish course suitability. Attendance for assessment at either Easton or Otley Campus may be required. Applicants should have at least 4 GCSEs including English and Maths at grades A-E or 9- 2. Evidence of qualifications will be required. Apprentices need to be employed for minimum of 30 hours a week in the industry with a contract of employment.4 GCSE’s incl. Maths & English A-E/9-2
Vacancy Full Description : We are searching for the right person to be part of our team and help us grow. Every day is exciting and different. Some days maintaining commercial and residential grounds. And other days working on exciting landscaping projects. From building jetties in Lakes to designing and implementing complete garden transformations!
We are looking for a creative and practical person to help us not only build but also maintain functional, beautiful, and relaxing gardens for both commercial and individual customers.
The candidate will work alongside Tristan learning all the areas of the business from meeting clients to discuss their wants and desires to implementing the designs. The hard landscaping will include paving, fencing, walling, turfing, seeding, decking, water features, planting up etc
The business also currently maintains approximately 65acres of commercial and residential grounds around east Anglia. The candidate would again work with Tristan in an effort to make these grounds as aesthetically and horticulturally pleasing as possible.
Jobs would include grass cutting, weed control, hedge cutting, some tree work, leaf clearance, maintaining and servicing equipment as well as general gardening duties etc
Number of Positions Available : 1
Working Week : 35 hrs per week 7am start - 4.30pm flexible
Salary : £175.00 Per Week

We are a small business so the prospect would be a full time well paid position running the jobs and going out and about all over East Anglia maintaining the contracts on your own.
The candidate needs to embrace the business and be part of the team.
Training to be Provided : Intemediate Horticultre Apprenticeship Level 2 including Functional Skills in Maths and English if required
Things to consider : 99.9% of the work is outside in all weather. Suitable clothing will be provided.
On average I do 13,000 steps a day at work so good health is essential for this role.
