Vacancy Short Description : Trainee greenkeeper required. To join our experienced team, working outdoors on our 130 acre site. Full training and equipment provided. You will work to a NVQ level 2/3 in greenkeeping.
Qualifications Required : Entry onto the apprenticeship is subject to a thorough initial assessment to establish course suitability. Applicants should have at least 4 GCSEs including English and Maths at grades A-E or 9- 2. Evidence of qualifications will be required. You may be asked to attend for an assessment at either Easton or Otley campus. Apprentices need to be employed for minimum of 30 hours a week in the industry with a contract of employment.
Vacancy Full Description : As a trainee greenkeeper you join our staff who look after the course.
The greens section report to the committees via the director of golf and prepare the course daily to a high standard.
Key responsibilities; basic maintenance of machinery, cutting all areas of the course, bunker and ditch maintenance.

Working Week : M to Fr 6am-2pm 40 min break. some wkends 6 - 9am
Salary : £187.50 Per Week

Training to be Provided : Advanced Apprenticeship in Golf Greenkeeping Level 3 including Functional Skills in Maths and English if required
Other Information : Pay Rates: The current NMW rate for Apprentices is £3.70 per hour with effect from 1st April 2018. This applies to 16-18 year old Apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other Apprentices the Apprentice National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The wage for Apprentices applies to both time spent on the job plus time spent in training.
