Vacancy Full Description : This apprenticeship position will be ideal for a candidate who is interested in learning the skills and knowledge to work as an office manager. Key responsibilities and training will be provided to
prepare, record and process data.
• Maintain spreadsheets,
• provide information for financial reports,
• data input, and photocopying,
• faxing, and scanning documents.
• Deal with internal and external emails on a daily basis.
• Support the team to maintain accurate timely and legible records.
• Maintain filling systems in line with organisations policies and procedures. Maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
• Attend and take part in team meetings.
To answer/deal with queries both face to face and via telephone or email, take messages and pass them onto the relevant member of staff.

Working Week : Mon-Fri with rota'd weekends
Salary : £148.00 Per Week

Personal Qualities : Need to be a good time keeper, hardworking and flexible. Need good communication skills and excellent organisation skills.
Skills Required : Ideally Grade C or above in English, Maths and preferably IT as well. You need to be accurate in your work for example note taking and messages that need passing on must be detailed and easily understood.
Future Prospects : For the right candidate who shows a passion for the role, is an excellent time keeper along with a flexible work ethic, the long term future prospects are excellent.
Training to be Provided : No College attendance is required for this apprenticeship.
Training for all job specific tasks will be given. In addition the apprentice will have the support and guidance of a qualified assessor from the college, who will make on-site visits every 6-8 weeks. There may be the occasional need to attend either the Otley or Easton campus for short training courses and tests.

Pay Rates: The current NMW rate for Apprentices is £3.70 per hour with effect from 1st April 2018. This applies to 16-18 year old Apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other Apprentices the Apprentice National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The wage for Apprentices applies to both time spent on the job plus time spent in training. Apprentices need to be employed for a minimum of 30 hours per week in the industry with a contract of employment
Working Week:
Shortlisting/Interviews - Shortlisting and interviews will take place throughout the duration of the vacancy ad. This may mean that the vacancy could close before the published cut-off date should suitable candidates be found.
Things to consider : Location is somewhat remote; consideration should be given to how the successful candidate will get to and from work each day.

At times you will need to be working independently, full guidance and mentoring will be given, though you should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team.
