Vacancy Full Description : As the Customer Service Advisor within a small team, you will play a key role in the success of an expanding local business. You will be involved in the selling of motor and household products with a longer term to progressing into commercial insurance. You will required to provide exceptional administrative support, handle enquiries, deal with incoming and make outbound phone calls, paperwork, sales tasks and potentially some book-keeping admin, with a 'can-do' proactive enthusiasm. You will need to have an excellent telephone manner and a flexible, people-orientated approach to everything you do. But above all, you will relish the challenge of being part of a customer focused, ambitious team. In return, you can expect full training in a friendly and supportive environment. Working Week : Monday - Friday, 9.00 - 5.00, 35 hours per week
Salary : £200.00 Per Week

Personal Qualities : You must be friendly, flexible, enthusiastic and a good 'people person'. You will be a team player with a helpful 'can-do' attitude, who wants to deliver excellent customer service.
Skills Required : The ideal candidate will be IT Literate; good communication skills, both written and verbal; numerate; friendly telephone manner and some general administrative skills would be preferable.
Future Prospects : These are very much appointments with a long term view, as our successful recruitment of a past apprentice can demonstrate. At the end of your 12 month apprenticeship, there would be the possibility of a full time permanent position.
Training to be Provided : Qualification: Customer Service Apprenticeship Level 2
College Attendance: None
Training for all job specific tasks will be given. In addition the apprentice will have the support and guidance of a qualified assessor from the college, who will make on-site visits every 6-8 weeks. There may be the occasional need to attend either the Otley or Easton campus for short training courses and tests.
Other Information : Pay Rates: The current NMW rate for Apprentices is £3.70 per hour with effect from 1st April 2018. This applies to 16-18 year old Apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other Apprentices the Apprentice National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The wage for Apprentices applies to both time spent on the job plus time spent in training. Apprentices need to be employed for a minimum of 30 hours per week in the industry with a contract of employment
