Vacancy Short Description : A receptionist/administration assistant is required to help with the smooth running of the business. You will be performing a receptionist role whilst assisting with the general administration of the company.

 

Qualifications Required : Entry onto the apprenticeship is subject to a thorough initial assessment to establish course suitability. Applicants should have at least 4 GCSEs including English and Maths at grades A-E or 9- 2. Apprentices need to be employed for minimum of 30 hours a week in the industry with a contract of employment.
Vacancy Full Description : Reporting to the Accounts Manager, the role is a varied one. Your key responsibilities will be:
• Answering and dealing with incoming telephone calls in an appropriate and friendly manner.
• Carrying out reception duties, welcoming visitors and signing for incoming deliveries.
• Dealing with the daily post, and distributing to departments.
• Filing as needed.
• Locating and booking hotels for staff.
• Photocopying as needed.
• Administration.

Working Week : 40 hrs 9am to 5:30pm Mon - Fr with half an hour unpaid lunch break
Salary : £150.00 Per Week

Skills Required : • Employ a pleasant manner on the telephone and when discussing matters with colleagues.
• Exercise computer skills sufficient to be able to fulfil duties using the company’s IT systems.

• Demonstrate aptitude for using the telephone and emails.

Training to be Provided : Qualification: Business Administration Level 2

College Attendance: None

Training for all job specific tasks will be given. In addition the apprentice will have the support and guidance of a qualified assessor from the college, who will make on-site visits every 6-8 weeks. There may be the occasional need to attend either the Otley or Easton campus for short training courses and tests.
Other Information : Pay Rates: The current NMW rate for Apprentices is £3.70 per hour with effect from 1st April 2018. This applies to 16-18 year old Apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other Apprentices the Apprentice National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The wage for Apprentices applies to both time spent on the job plus time spent in training.
