Vacancy Full Description : An exciting opportunity to learn a trade in the maintenance and repair of buses and coaches. Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be carrying out:
Maintaining buses for MOT preparation
28 day vehicle inspection program
Working on engine and transmission systems
Opportunity to work on electrical systems / bodywork
Maintaining the Garage in a clean and good working order
Adhere to health & safety regulations
Number of Positions Available : 1
Working Week : Monday – Friday 8am-4pm (half an hour break) 37.5 hrs week
Salary : £138.75 Per Week

Training to be Provided : Qualification: HGV Maintenance & Repair
College Attendance: Attendance at the Otley campus of Easton & Otley College either block release or day release to be confirmed.
Training for all job specific tasks will be given. In addition the apprentice will have the support and guidance of a qualified assessor from the college, who will make on-site visits every 6-8 weeks. There may be the occasional need to attend either the Otley or Easton campus for short training courses and tests.
Other Information : Pay Rates: The current NMW rate for Apprentices is £3.70 per hour (effective from 1st October 2018). This applies to 16-18 year old Apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other Apprentices the Apprentice National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The wage for Apprentices applies to both time spent on the job plus time spent in training. Employer is offering £5.30 per hour (this will increase with age and in line with training and development).
